Dedicated to building a network of elite professionals, the Broads Circle is focused on taking women to the next and highest level in business. The circle brings together women in a variety of industries who share the same career and personal drivers to generate revenue and assume leadership positions. We DRIVE REVENUE by creating a forum where women can make connections and freely discuss business opportunities. In business, money is power and our members have bottom line responsibilities. We track revenue connections made through Broads Circle to ensure mission accomplished. The Broads GROW CAPITAL through a trusted and confidential exchange that includes investment ideas, opportunities, and business engagements. Broads Circle Founder Darya founded Broads Circle in 2008 with the goal of creating an exclusive network of businesswomen and the professionals who work with them. The networking meetings began as invitation-only bimonthly breakfasts featuring guest speakers such as C-level women executives who shared their insights and lessons from the field. Since then, the membership has steadily grown and Broads Circle has added quarterly evening cocktail events featuring nationally recognized speakers. In an effort to enhance the networking opportunities for its members, the cocktail events have become co-ed with invitations extended to selected male executives. With 22 years of experience in financial services, Darya's forte is strategic wealth management for families and foundations. She is a CPA and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and obtained her MBA from Fordham University (where she focused on finance and portfolio management). Darya has taught as an adjunct professor of Finance at New York University and has authored many financial planning articles. Darya is married with three children, lives in Pacific Palisades, CA, and currently serves on the Board of the Westside YMCA, Mann Healthcare Partners, and is 2012 President of the Los Angeles Philanthropic Advisors Network (LA-PAN).
Our mission is to learn from our peers, promote professional interests, exchange ideas, ask for advice, and share best practices in an open and trusting way with fellow women leaders of business. Driving Revenue and Growing Capital for Women

What People Are Saying About Broads Circle In business, just like in life, the first step of success is “showing up”. In our Broads Circle event on September 30, 2010, one of our members, an executive in the Biotech industry who is currently attending the UCLA MBA program voiced a wish: “…to someday head my own small Biotech company.” Upon hearing that, another member of the group has made the introduction between our young executive and a start up biotech company to explore opportunities. Sometimes, you just need a “foot in the door” to start up. And always, to have a foot in a door, you need to “show up.” Please show up to our Broads Circle events and voice out your goals to others. The person next to you might just have your ticket...
